At KS5 there are 2 different types of units; exam based and practical based. For exam based units students complete past paper questions and whole papers. These are marked and feedback is always given in lessons. For practical units, often home learning is completing the pre-production and documentation required. These documents are launched in the lesson and then the expectation is to complete them outside of lessons. All students must then upload those to Teams for marking. Students are also given a termly ‘reading’ list, which is a series of TV shows and films which will be relevant to the units or topics we are studying. The only requirement for a Media course in the ability to have access to Teams outside of the classroom to complete these tasks.
