Well, the mixed weather certainly wasn’t on their side for their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Qualifying Expedition but 60 of our Year 11 students didn’t let the rain, wind and gales get the better of them! Trekking through the Yorkshire Dales for 3 days and 2 nights camping they displayed excellent navigation and campcraft skills but, perhaps more importantly, also their determination, resilience, teamwork and perseverance. Many congratulations on achieving this section of the award – students always say it best; “we all learned different things from each other”.
