The bingo cards are ready for this term’s reading bingo challenge.
Encourage your child to do some wider reading around the books they are reading in class. Take a look at the suggested books in the download links below. The bingo cards are available to view on Teams, so students can always check for suggestions for what to read next.
As well as being enjoyable, wider reading can help your child with their studies as it can deepen their understanding of language conventions, styles, knowledge of a topic or issue and simply for increasing their vocabulary. This is just one of the literacy initiatives we use at Dallam to help our students to become skilled readers, expressive writers, confident speakers and perceptive listeners.
