Dallam student signs with Wigan Warriors Academy
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of Ava Heath, a talented Year 10 student at Dallam School, who has recently signed a two-year development contract with the Wigan Warriors Academy.
Ava’s achievement is a remarkable milestone in her sporting journey. Having already played for Heysham Atoms, Vale of Lune Rugby Union Club, and Hindley Rugby League Club, her dedication and drive have earned her a well-deserved place in one of the country’s leading rugby league academies.

Speaking to Beyond Radio, Ava shared her excitement about joining the Warriors and the hard work that has gone into reaching this point. She also thanked her family and coaches for their support — a sentiment that reflects her humility and team spirit.
