Charlotte Richardson Shines in Cross Country and Fell Running Success

Dallam School is celebrating the outstanding achievements of Charlotte Richardson (Year 7), whose incredible talent in cross-country running continues to impress.
Charlotte recently represented Cumbria at the prestigious Dave Sunderland Trophy event in Dudley after earning her place at the County Round in Penrith. Competing in her first race for Cumbria, Charlotte ran a superb 2.7km on a fast, flat course, finishing 46th out of 81 runners with a time of 10:25. Amongst the Cumbrian team, Charlotte was the fourth finisher – a fantastic accomplishment in such a competitive field.
On Sunday, Charlotte swapped the track for the hills, competing in the Arnside Knott Fell Race. Not only did she come second, but her consistent excellence throughout the series earned her the overall title, with two individual wins already under her belt.
This remarkable double achievement highlights Charlotte’s versatility and determination as an athlete. Well done, Charlotte – the whole Dallam community is proud of you!
