Charlotte qualifies for Nationals at intercounties championship! 🏃♀️🎉
A huge well done to Charlotte Richardson, who put in a fantastic performance at the Intercounties Championship, finishing 29th out of 61 runners. Competing against some of the best athletes in the region, Charlotte was the 7th fastest Cumbrian, securing her spot to represent Cumbria at the National Championships at Shuckburgh Estate in Northamptonshire on 22nd March. Impressively, this marks her third consecutive year qualifying for the Nationals—a remarkable achievement!
Charlotte isn’t stopping there! She’s also competing in the Helm Hill Winter League, where she continues to push herself against tough competition. On Sunday, she took on the brutal Barbondale Fell race, leading near the finish before a fall cost her the win. Despite this setback, her determination and resilience were on full display.
We’re incredibly proud of Charlotte’s dedication and can’t wait to cheer her on at the Nationals next month! 💪👏
