Performance data

We strive for high-quality teaching and learning here at Dallam, and our pupils are encouraged in their many different ambitions and talents.

We’re proud that 95% of our students receive their first choice university offer.

Dallam School’s full performance tables can be found on the Government website.

School performance highlights from 2021 – 2022

Achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths 47%
Attainment 8 score 48.5
Progress 8 score -0.23
Students entered for Ebacc 35%
Ebacc average points score 4.15
Students staying in education or employment after GCSE 96%

Please note that the government has not published educational performance data for those years affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said that you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another or to data from previous years.

Ofsted report, Dallam School

We’re progressing an ambitious 3 year improvement plan recognised by Ofsted inspectors. This was put in place in February 2023 by new Headteacher Steven Henneberry, and is being worked on by a new senior leadership team.

Ofsted report, Dallam Boarding House

Our boarders enjoy their boarding experience, and their academic achievements are good. Our boarding school is judged ‘good’ in all areas of the report: the children’s experience and progress, the help and protection of children, and the effectiveness of leaders.
