Our mission statement

At Dallam School, we believe that education empowers students with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to build a better future for themselves, their families, and their community. At our school, every student develops the confidence and courage to be themselves and has access to opportunities that unlock future success. Our school aims  

Pupils can expect to be encouraged in their ambitions and talents, to try new things, to make mistakes, and to learn from their experiences. We strive for high-quality and engaging learning and teaching, offering a wide range of opportunities for everyone to discover their unique skillset.  

Confidence, resilience, and self-belief are instilled while we embrace the diverse nature of our school community. We promote open, honest, and respectful communication and welcome creative and innovative thinking.  

Additionally, we promote good mental and physical health through active lifestyles, organised sports, and outdoor experiences.

Dallam is all about welcoming and valuing parents, ensuring a warm, respectful, and compassionate atmosphere where everyone’s voice is heard.  

We believe that parents and schools are a team, working together to ensure our children feel safe, happy, and successful. We keep parents updated on all the exciting things happening at school and how their child is doing because we believe in sharing every step of the learning journey together.

Our approach to teaching and learning  

Our inclusive curriculum is built to ensure students enjoy a wide range of subjects and experiences. Dallam School provides an accessible, challenging and appropriate educational experience that ensures academic success, encourages personal reflection and development, and promotes rich experiences. Ultimately, we aim for students to be ready for life after school, in whatever form that may take.
